How to sign in to Ender Turing, including single sign-on (SSO), email and password login, password recovery, and the prompts you may see when you are asked to sign in again. This article is automatically maintained (sign-in).

Overview

The Sign In screen is where you enter your Ender Turing workspace. The screen looks slightly different depending on how your organization is configured:

  • Single sign-on (SSO) — you enter your email and click Continue to be redirected to your identity provider, where you complete the sign-in.

  • Email and password — you enter your email and password directly on the screen, then click Log In.

When you see this screen depends on how your organization signs you in:

  • With email-and-password login, you see the Sign In screen whenever you visit your workspace and aren't signed in yet, after your session ends, or when the platform needs you to sign in again.

  • With SSO, you are usually redirected straight to your identity provider's sign-in page. You only land on the Ender Turing Sign In screen in specific cases — for example, after a wrong-account rejection or when you start from a generic Ender Turing landing page.

How It Works

Reaching the Sign In Screen

Open your Ender Turing workspace in the browser. What happens next depends on how your organization is configured:

  • Email-and-password organizations — you are taken to the Ender Turing Sign In screen automatically. The screen shows the Ender Turing logo and the title Sign In.

  • SSO organizations — you are usually redirected straight to your identity provider's sign-in page, without seeing the Ender Turing Sign In screen first. The Ender Turing Sign In screen appears in specific cases — for example, after a wrong-account rejection or when you start from a generic Ender Turing landing page.

Use the URL provided by your administrator. Each organization uses its own address. Some SSO deployments also offer a generic Ender Turing landing page where you enter your email on the Sign In screen and are then redirected to your organization's address automatically — your administrator will tell you if that page is available to your team.

If you open an SSO workspace URL that does not match any active organization, you will see a This page is not available screen. Double-check the URL with your administrator if that happens. In email-and-password mode there is no separate "not available" page — a wrong URL or unknown account surfaces as a sign-in error on the form instead.

Signing In with Single Sign-On (SSO)

When your organization uses SSO, you are usually redirected straight to your identity provider's sign-in page and never see the Ender Turing Sign In screen. Complete the sign-in there (for example, entering your password or approving the request in an authenticator app), and you are returned to Ender Turing and routed to your workspace.

If you do land on the Ender Turing Sign In screen in SSO mode — for example, after a wrong-account rejection or because you started from a generic Ender Turing landing page:

  1. Enter your work email in the Login field.

  2. Click Continue.

  3. Complete the sign-in on your identity provider's page.

  4. After a successful sign-in you are returned to Ender Turing and routed to your workspace.

In SSO mode, no password field is shown on the Ender Turing screen and there is no Forgot password? link — password management happens in your identity provider, not in Ender Turing.

Signing In with Email and Password

When your organization uses internal email-and-password login:

  1. Enter your email in the Login field.

  2. Enter your password in the Password field. Click the eye icon at the end of the field to reveal the password as you type.

  3. Click Log In.

After a successful sign-in you are routed to your workspace.

If the credentials are not accepted, an error message appears below the form. Common reasons:

  • The email or password is wrong.

  • The account does not exist or has not finished setup.

  • A temporary problem reached the server.

Re-enter your details and try again, or use Forgot password? to start a password recovery.

Forgot Password

The Forgot password? link appears below the form when your organization uses email-and-password login. Clicking it takes you to the Password Recovery screen:

  1. Enter the email registered on your account.

  2. Click Recover Password.

  3. A confirmation message appears. If an active account exists under that email, Ender Turing sends a password recovery email; if the address is unknown or the account is deactivated, the same confirmation is shown but no email is sent, so double-check the address with your administrator if it never arrives. If you instead see an error notification, the email could not be matched to an organization from the page you started on — re-check the address or open recovery from your organization's workspace URL.

  4. Open the email and follow the link to the Reset password screen, where you can choose a new password.

  5. After resetting your password, you are taken back to the Sign In screen so you can log in with the new password.

If the recovery link is too old, the reset screen shows Password recovery link has expired along with a Start new password recovery link to begin again.

When You're Asked to Sign In Again

You may see one of these messages above the form on the Sign In screen:

Message

What it means

What to do

Ender Turing needs you to sign in again — typically because you opened a workspace that is different from the one your current sign-in belongs to (for example, a different sub-organization).

Click Continue (SSO) or sign in with email and password as usual. You may be asked to choose an account by your identity provider.

Your session has expired. Please log in to continue.

Your previous session ended.

Sign in again with your usual credentials.

The first message is a neutral prompt, not an error. You haven't done anything wrong — it's just an invitation to sign in again for the workspace you're trying to reach. You don't have to leave the page or edit the URL.

Theme and Accessibility

The Sign In screen has a light/dark theme toggle in the top-right corner. Your choice is remembered for the next visit.

Setting Up Your Account for the First Time

If your organization uses email-and-password login and you were just invited to Ender Turing, you'll first land on the Welcome! screen instead of Sign In. There you set the password for your new account, then return to the Sign In screen to log in with your email and the password you just chose.

If the invitation link is too old, the screen shows Invite has expired. Request a new invitation to continue. Ask your administrator for a fresh invitation.

If your organization uses SSO, you do not see the Welcome! screen — the invitation comes from your identity provider instead, and your password is managed there.

Important Notes

  • The label for the email field is Login, but you should enter your email address there.

  • In SSO mode, the button reads Continue; in email-and-password mode, it reads Log In.

  • After a wrong-organization sign-in, Ender Turing keeps you on the Sign In screen on purpose, so you don't get stuck in a silent redirect loop. Use the form to sign in again, picking the right account when your identity provider asks.

  • Password management (changing or resetting) lives outside the Sign In screen when your organization uses SSO — handle it in your identity provider.
