Overview
Sign Up creates a brand-new Ender Turing workspace for your organization. You fill in a short form, confirm your email address, and set a password — at the end you have your own workspace at your own web address, with your account as its first user.
Two things are important to know before you start:
Sign Up creates a new organization, not a seat in an existing one. If your colleagues already use Ender Turing and you just need access, do not sign up. Ask an administrator to invite you instead — an invitation lands you in the existing workspace with its existing conversations, agents, and settings. A workspace you create through Sign Up holds none of your colleagues' data, and no other organization can see yours. It does arrive with the standard starting set-up — a Template Scorecard, an Unassigned team, and default system settings — so anything you find there on the first day is a built-in default, not data carried over from someone else. See Sign In for the invitation path.
You need a verification code from Ender Turing. Sign Up is not fully open self-service. The form asks for a code that Ender Turing issues to you, and the form will not go through without a valid one.
Sign Up is part of the Ender Turing cloud service. If your company runs Ender Turing on its own servers (an on-premises installation), the sign-up flow is not available — workspaces there are created by your administrator, and new people join by invitation.
How It Works
Who Can Use It
Sign Up is a public page. You do not need an Ender Turing account, and you do not need to be signed in to use it.
You are | Can you use Sign Up? | What to do |
Starting with Ender Turing, no workspace yet | Yes, once you have a verification code | Request a code, then complete the form below |
A new team member at a company that already uses Ender Turing | No — this is the wrong path | Ask an administrator for an invitation |
An existing Ender Turing user who wants a second, separate workspace | Yes, with a valid verification code | Use an email address that is not already registered. A code you already have may still work — you do not necessarily need a fresh one |
A user of an on-premises Ender Turing installation | Not available | Your administrator creates accounts directly |
Before You Start
Have these ready:
A verification code. The form field is labelled Verification code (request at [email protected]) — request it from that address if you do not have one yet.
An email address you can open right away. You must click a link in a confirmation email to finish, and that link expires (48 hours by default).
Your organization name and preferred workspace address. The address becomes the permanent web address of your workspace, so decide on it before you type.
Step 1 — Fill In the Sign Up Form
Open the Ender Turing sign-up page. It is a standalone page: nothing inside an existing workspace links to it, so you need its web address before you can start. If you do not have the address, ask for it at [email protected] — the same address that issues verification codes.
The page is headed Sign Up and asks for:
Field | What to enter |
First name | Your given name. Required. |
Last name | Your family name. Required. |
A valid email address you can open. This becomes your sign-in username. | |
Organization | Your company or team name, as you want it to appear in the workspace. |
Domain | The address of your workspace. Shown with a fixed |
Verification code | The code issued to you by Ender Turing. |
Then tick I have read and agree to Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Both are links that open in a new tab. The form will not submit until this box is ticked.
Click Continue to submit.
How the Domain Field Behaves
Ender Turing suggests a domain for you as you type the Organization name: it is lower-cased and spaces become dashes, so Acme Support Team is suggested as acme-support-team.
As soon as you edit the Domain field yourself, Ender Turing stops overwriting your choice and leaves it alone. Clearing the field completely re-enables the suggestions, but it does not refill the field on the spot — it stays blank until you next change the Organization name, which then fills it again.
The address must follow these rules:
Letters, digits, and dashes only.
It cannot begin or end with a dash.
It cannot be made up of digits alone.
Up to 63 characters.
If the value breaks a rule, the field shows Domain can contain only letters, digits and dashes and cannot begin or end with a dash.
Choose the address carefully. It becomes the web address everyone on your team uses to reach the workspace, and the sign-up screens offer no way to change it afterwards.
Step 2 — Confirm Your Email Address
When the form is accepted, it is replaced by a confirmation message:
We have sent a confirmation email to your email address. Please open it and click on the "Finish Sign Up" button to continue.
If you typed a Gmail address ending in @gmail.com in lower case, a Go to Gmail button appears below the message and opens Gmail in a new tab. The check is case-sensitive, so typing the same address as @Gmail.com simply hides the button — it is only a shortcut, and your sign-up and confirmation email are unaffected either way.
Open the email and click Finish Sign Up. Nothing is created yet at this point — the workspace is built only after you complete the next step, so the sign-up is not finished until you follow the link.
If the email never arrives, check your spam folder first. Seeing the confirmation message at all is a good sign: when Ender Turing cannot send the email, the form stays as it is and shows an error notification instead of the confirmation, so the confirmation only appears once the email has been handed off for delivery. If it is genuinely missing after that, start the sign-up again.
A success notification reading Invitation has been sent to your email also appears at this point. Despite the wording, this is your own sign-up confirmation, not an invitation from someone else.
Step 3 — Set Your Password
The link from the email opens a Sign Up screen with the prompt Please setup your password to continue.
Enter your password in the Password field.
Repeat it in the Confirm Password field.
Use the eye icon at the end of either field to reveal what you have typed.
Click Continue.
Your password must:
be at least 8 characters long,
contain at least one lowercase letter,
contain at least one uppercase letter,
contain at least one digit.
If the two fields differ, the second one shows Passwords do not match.
Once the password is accepted, your workspace is created and your browser is sent to its new address. Sign in there with your email and the password you just chose.
If the workspace cannot be created, you stay on the password screen and a notification explains what happened — see Messages You May See below.
If the Sign Up Link Has Expired
If you wait too long before opening the email, the password screen shows Sign up link has expired together with a Start new sign up link. Clicking it returns you to the sign-up form so you can submit your details again. You will need a valid verification code again.
The same Sign up link has expired screen appears if the link is damaged rather than old — for example, if your email client broke it across lines and you copied only part of it. If the address is missing the link details entirely, you instead see No token provided in the URL. In both cases, go back to the email and open the Finish Sign Up button directly rather than copying the address by hand.
Messages You May See
Some problems are flagged under the field as you fill the form, and some arrive as a pop-up notification after you click Continue.
Shown under the individual field:
Message | What it means | What to do |
You must accept the terms and conditions | The agreement box is not ticked. | Tick I have read and agree to Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. |
Domain can contain only letters, digits and dashes and cannot begin or end with a dash | The workspace address breaks the naming rules. | Correct it against the rules above. |
Password must contain at least 8 characters, one uppercase letter and one number | The password is too weak. | Lengthen it and include upper case, lower case, and a digit. |
Passwords do not match | The two password fields differ. | Re-type both fields. |
A required-field or invalid-email message | A field is empty or the email is malformed. | Complete the field. |
Shown as a notification after submitting the sign-up form (Step 1):
Message | What it means | What to do |
Email, Organization or Domain is already in use | Despite the wording, this covers two different situations, and the message does not say which one you hit: either one of those three values really is taken — it does not say which — or the service that creates workspaces returned an error, in which case your details are fine. | If you know all three values are new, treat it as a service error: wait a few minutes and submit exactly the same details again. Only if that keeps failing, or if one of the three may genuinely be taken, try a different workspace address, then a different organization name, then a different email. Write to [email protected] if neither helps. |
Error processing signup | A catch-all for everything else the server rejected. | See the note below. |
Shown as a notification after submitting your password (Step 3):
Message | What it means | What to do |
Invalid Signup Token | The confirmation link was accepted when the page opened but was refused when you clicked Continue — usually because it expired in the meantime. | Start over. Go back to the sign-up form, submit your details again, and open the new confirmation email promptly. Your password was not saved. |
A message naming a value that is taken — User with such email already exists, Organization with such name already exists, or Domain already in use | Your email, organization name, or workspace address was free when you filled in the form but has been taken since — either you signed up twice and already finished from the other confirmation email, or someone else claimed the same value in the meantime. | Nothing was set up from this link. If you did finish another sign-up with these details, open that workspace's address and sign in with the password you set there. Otherwise start over from the sign-up form with details that are not in use. |
Signup error | Setting up the workspace failed part-way through. This is a failure on Ender Turing's side, not a problem with the password you typed. | Do not click Continue again. Write to [email protected], quoting the workspace address you chose, and let them finish or clean up the setup. |
In all three cases the password form stays on screen instead of taking you to your workspace, but the situations are not the same. After Invalid Signup Token, or after a message about a value already being in use, nothing was set up, so starting over is safe. After Signup error part of the workspace may already exist behind the scenes; submitting again starts a separate attempt from scratch rather than resuming the first one, which is why support should pick it up instead.
Invalid Signup Token and the "already in use" messages come straight from the server, so they appear in English whatever language the rest of the screen is in, and may carry a technical prefix such as Value error,. The prefix does not change what the message means.
Two further messages — Sign up link has expired and No token provided in the URL — are not notifications at all. They replace the password form on the Step 3 screen before you can type anything; see If the Sign Up Link Has Expired above.
***Error processing signup* does not say what went wrong. It covers two quite different situations. One is an incorrect or unrecognised verification code**: the code is never flagged under its own field, so the form gives no hint that it is the problem. The other is a failure on Ender Turing's side, such as the confirmation email not being sent, which has nothing to do with what you typed. Re-check the code character by character; if it is correct, wait a few minutes and submit again rather than changing your details, and write to [email protected] if it keeps failing.
Light and Dark Theme
Every sign-up screen carries a Dark theme switch in the top-right corner, the same one used on the Sign In screen. Your choice is remembered for the next visit.
What to Do Next
Once you are inside your new workspace:
Invite your colleagues so they join this workspace rather than creating their own — see Users & Agents.
Configure workspace-wide preferences under Settings, and invite colleagues or connect a conversation source when you are ready. The former interactive onboarding checklist has been retired; see Interactive Onboarding Retirement.
Important Notes
Sign Up always creates a new, separate workspace. It is never the way to join an existing one.
The sign-up form is the only screen that asks for the verification code; you will not be asked for it again on the password screen.
The workspace itself is only created in Step 3. If you stop after Step 1, nothing is reserved — an unfinished sign-up does not hold on to your email, organization name, or chosen address, so you can start again with exactly the same details.
Your email address doubles as your sign-in username in the new workspace, so use an address you expect to keep.
