Own Trainings

View and complete training plans assigned to you, including linked skills with playlists, documents, and quizzes. This article is automatically maintained (own-trainings).

Overview

Own Trainings shows you the training plans that have been assigned to you. Each training plan groups one or more skills together, and each skill can include playlists, documents, and quizzes for you to work through. Use this page to see what you need to learn, access learning materials, and take quizzes to demonstrate your knowledge.

How It Works

Accessing Own Trainings

Open Trainings from the main navigation, then select Own Trainings. The page displays all training plans currently assigned to you.

If no training plans have been assigned yet, the page shows a "No trainings defined" message.

Training Plan Cards

Each training plan appears as a card showing:

  • Name — the title of the training plan.

  • Description — a summary of what the training covers.

  • Due date — the date by which you should complete the training. If no deadline was set, this shows "No due date."

  • Linked skills — the skills included in the training plan, displayed below the card header.

Working Through a Skill

Click on any skill within a training plan card to open the skill detail page. A skill can contain three types of learning material:

  • Documents — files stored in EnderDrive that you can view or download.

  • Playlists — collections of recordings or media. Clicking a playlist opens it in a new browser tab.

  • Quizzes — knowledge checks you can start, resume, or retry directly from the skill page.

Taking Quizzes

Quizzes within a skill show your current status and available actions:

Status

What it means

Available action

Not started

You have not attempted this quiz yet

Start

In progress

You started but have not finished

Resume

Failed attempt

You did not pass, but attempts remain

Retry

Success

You passed the quiz

Retry (if attempts remain)

Failed

You did not pass and no attempts remain

None

Each quiz shows a time limit and, once completed, your score as a percentage of correct answers.

Who Can Access Own Trainings

Own Trainings is available to users who have the View own trainings permission. This is typically granted to agents and other team members who receive training plans.

To start, resume, or retry quizzes, you also need the Track own training progress permission. Without it you can browse training plans and view quiz details, but starting, resuming, or retrying a quiz will fail with a permission error. If you see an error when attempting a quiz, ask your administrator to grant this permission.

Managers and administrators who create and manage training plans do so from a separate Training Plans section, which is not covered in this article.

Important Details

  • You cannot create, edit, or delete training plans from the Own Trainings page. Training plans are assigned to you by a manager.

  • Quiz attempts are limited. Once you use all available attempts, you cannot retry the quiz.

  • Timed quizzes expire automatically if you do not finish within the time limit. An expired attempt counts as a completed attempt.

  • If a skill references a quiz or playlist that has been removed, that item will not appear in the skill detail page.
