Spent-based Charts (Cost-based)

How to Configure Charts to Display Money Spent instead of the number of conversations?

Updated over 2 months ago

Introduction

As a default Chart mode, charts displayed only the number of conversations, making interpretation challenging. With this guide, you can switch to a chart view that displays money spent, providing clearer insights.

Prerequisites

Ensure you have an existing chart configured. If not, you can set up a basic chart using the following guides:

Switching to Money Display

To switch the chart to display money instead of conversations:

  1. Enter Edit mode for your chart.

  2. Locate the switcher labeled `Show Cost`.

  3. Toggle the switcher to enable money display.

Configurable Rates

Money display rates can be configured at three levels, with each subsequent level overriding the previous level.

Org-Wide (Global) Rate

You can change the org-wide rate and currency in Settings, under Agent hourly rate Setting, see screenshot below:

Team-wide Rate

If some of your Teams have different rates (from the Org-wide), you can set these team rates on a per-team level, see screenshot below:

Agent Rate

If some of your Agents have different rates (from the Org-wide or Team average), you can set Agent-specific rates on a per-agent level, see screenshot below:

Changing Rate Currency

If you need to change currency for your deployment, use the switcher in settings:

Using the Chart on C-Level Boards

Now, you can utilize this chart on C-Level boards to provide executives with valuable insights into financial aspects. Please review the C-Level configuration guide to create and add a chart to the C-Level board.
